Impulse Purchase: Runners
Today’s impulse purchase is inspired entirely by a sale in One Kings Lane. I’ve had various runners throughout the years – it’s just a fancy name for a very long and skinny rug. Usually used in a hallway, I find you can toss runners anywhere. It’s a great way to connect two spaces or to soften a space when you can’t add a full sized rug.
Check out the gorgeous little numbers on sale today:
Matmi Runner, Desert Sand
And in a room:
Shibui Runner, Tan
This feels so elegant to me, with a touch of both modern and ancient at the same time.
In this neutral room, the pattern of the rug really shines.
Haven Runner, Ventian Red
This is so bold, I love it! And in the form of a runner, it’s not overwhelming-Just a lovely focal point on the floor.
I love shopping home decor, but unfortunately, I only have one house! Virtual shopping is the next best thing. Check back here for our new weekly series, Impulse Purchase, where I peruse online decor sales, pick out some of my faves and show some ideas for how to decorate.
You can also follow our Impulse Purchase series on Pinterest. And if you catch anything good on sale, send it my way or add to the comments.
Happy home decor shopping!
